For beginning lap swimmers
and first-time triathletes
Work with an experienced swim coach
to improve swimming skills. Participants
must be able to swim 50-100 continuous
yards freestyle. Build endurance and
increase strength. Learn to get a great
workout by swimming laps.

A 60 minute class for beginner swimmers. Emphasis on water
acclimation, breathing and front crawl stroke. Develop confidence
in the water independently.

Triathlon swimming skills taught by an
experienced coach. Prepare and train for
a triathlon swim event. Participants
must have strong swimming skills; be
able to swim 100-200 continuous yards
freestyle. Class registration limited to
once per week.

Open to any full facility member of the YMCA who is interested in the
sport of triathlon. All ability levels are welcome from complete beginner to
seasoned athlete. Great opportunity for inexperienced athletes to learn the
sport of triathlon.
