Childcare & Camp

The YMCA organization is the largest provider of child care in the world. The Wyckoff Y offers care for children from infants through school-age. Our summer camp program emphasizes learning, exploration, fitness, and fun!

Teen Camp

Good To Go (Gr. 6-7)

Explore a new world of exciting opportunities in being a teen camper: building friendships, creating group projects, taking part in team building games, and participating in Community service outreach. So many special trips are planned as we “Discover America”, whether it be going to the Big Apple, enjoying Sports in America, or exploring America’s rivers and parks.

Teen Scene (Gr. 8-9)

Our goal is to build stronger, more thoughtful Teens who are better equipped to navigate the world around them. From fitness training and indoor swim time, to sports on the turf fields, teens are motivated to stay active, fit, and prepared for High School life. We will explore the “great outdoors” through activities and many trip excursions; and as we explore the “great indoors,” we will increase our awareness of the arts, music, and culture of the USA.

Leaders In Training (Gr. 10-11)

3 Week Program
The “Leaders in Training” (LIT’s) Program is designed for 15 year olds who are interested in developing team building skills, while shadowing campers. Take a deeper look and practice creativity, manage a project as a group, build self-confidence, and recognize your leadership potential. Training topics include: communication/social skills, being a positive role model, teaching/creating activities and games, and giving positive guidance while enjoying all your favorite camp activities. LIT’s must schedule an interview prior to being accepted into the program. Campers successfully completing the program will be eligible to apply as a camp counselor next year.

LIT Service Week

Service Week is available to LIT’s who have successfully completed the LIT program and would like to continue shadowing campers. This week is not mandatory but a great ending to any LIT’s summer.
