The YMCA organization is the largest provider of child care in the world. The Wyckoff Y offers care for children from infants through school-age. Our summer camp program emphasizes learning, exploration, fitness, and fun!

Teen Camps

GOOD TO GO (GR. 6 – 7)
OFFERED ALL 10 WEEKS
Full Member: $760/ Session         Program Member: $810/ Session
Explore a new world of exciting opportunities in being a teen camper: building friendships, creating group projects, taking part in team building games, and participating in Community service outreach. Day Trips may include white water rafting, Dorney Park, museums, the shore and more.

TEEN SCENE (GR. 8 – 9)
OFFERED ALL 10 WEEKS
Full Member: $760/ Session          Program Member: $810/ Session
Our goal is to build stronger, more thoughtful Teens who are better equipped to navigate the world around them. From fitness training and indoor swim time, to sports on the turf fields, Teens are motivated to stay active, fit, and prepare for High School life. We will explore the “great outdoors” through activities and many trip excursions.

LEADERS IN TRAINING (GR. 10 – 11)
3 Week Program: July 9 – July 27
Full Member: $750/ Session          Program Member: $825/ Session
The “Leaders in Training” (LIT’s) Program is designed for 15 year olds who are interested in developing team building skills, while shadowing campers. Take a deeper look and practice creativity, manage a project as a group, build self-confidence, and recognize your leadership potential. Training Topics include: Communication/social skills, being a positive role model and giving positive guidance while enjoying all your favorite camp activities. Campers successfully completing the program will be eligible to apply as a camp counselor next year.

LIT Service Week: July 30 – August 3
Full Member: $175          Program Member: $200
Service Week is available to LIT’s who have successfully completed the LIT program and would like to continue shadowing campers. This week is not mandatory but a great ending to any LIT’s summer.

ADVANCED DANCE CAMP
FINALE – Week 10, Director Approval Only

Advanced Dance Camp is for serious dancers who want to improve their technique, strength, and coordination. The schedule includes classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, and tap and will give dancers a jump start in their classes in September. No swimming. Contact: TiffanyR@wyckoffymca.org

When working behind the scenes of The Lion King Jr., you complete the team of campers putting on a show. Responsibilities include set design, lighting, sound, and more!

Create costumes for the cast members of the Lion King, Jr., campers will use hand sewing, machine sewing, crafting, and more.

DANCE CAMP: JAZZ/TAP (2-Week Camp)

Designed to compliment our year-round Studio 691 Dance Programming: Focus is on warm-ups, across the floor choreography, and new and exciting combinations. Studio 691 Jazz & Tap curriculum will be taught each day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The African savannah comes to life on the Y’s stage. Nurture your talents in acting, singing, and dancing. Journey from Pride Rock to the jungle…and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. Auditions take place the first day of camp. Performance: August 16

Y Arts OnStage: FAME
This treasured Bergen County program for high school and college students continues to make its home on the Y’s stage in its third summer. Auditions in early June. Performances July 20 & 21.
