Since 1988 he has been a Professor of Art at Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ.

Artist Andrea Geller exhibits widely and her work is included in numerous private collections. “Floating”, a painting from her water series, was selected by the US Ambassador, Daniel Speckhard as part of a three year exhibition at the US Embassy in Athens, Greece.

Thurs, March 9 from 6 – 8pm
The Public is invited to the Opening Reception on  Refreshments will be served and SALUTE Members will be in attendance.

SALUTE to Women in The Arts, a community of artists who work and live in Bergen County. SALUTE To Women in the Arts Presents, “Childhood” An art exhibit highlighting the experience of childhood during Women’s History Month.

SALUTE artists have connected to their inner child to create artwork expressive of childhood. The work is varied and includes images of children, toys, memories of childhood; including abstract works that express the experience of childhood.
“Childhood” includes drawings, prints, paintings, collage, mixed media, assemblage, photographs, ceramic, and computer generated art. All artworks are for sale. A portion of sales will support the Wyckoff Family YMCA.
This is an opportunity to meet Bergen County artists who will be pleased to discuss their artwork. SALUTE artists, who work and live throughout Bergen County, exhibit their work throughout the area and in galleries in New York City. Creativity is expressed in painting, printmaking, collage, assemblage, photography, clay and drawing; in a variety of styles, including abstraction. All the work will be for sale. This is an excellent opportunity to experience great art close to home.
It is appropriate that “Childhood” an art exhibit by women artists, will take place during Women’s History Month. A seed group of concerned artists began SALUTE to Women in the Arts, in May 1974. They saw a need for an organization representing women in the arts here in Northern New Jersey. For forty three years, SALUTE has been a bulwark supporting the arts and artists in Bergen County and throughout the region. The highest level of professionalism is encouraged and members have vibrant careers in art. We encourage new members to get their feet wet. Join SALUTE to Women In The Arts, exhibit with us and join our activities; which include lectures, workshops, artist support groups and scholarships for talented high school students.
