The Wyckoff Family YMCA introduces a variety of programs for teens, to provide a welcoming environment where "tomorrow's adults" meet peers, make new friends, and "hang out" in a place that's safe, healthy and positive. Be an "extreme teen" at the Y.
Grades 4-7
Entrees will be our focus to include
stuffed shells with garlic bread and chicken
and cheese quesadillas with cinnamon
sugar crisps.
Grades 4-7
We move on in developing our cooking
skills to preparing delicious desserts such
as layered cookie bars, peppermint bark
and thumbprint cookies.
Grades 4-7
Advance your cooking techniques while
creating more intricate cuisine, such as
lasagna rolls, antipasto salad with balsamic
vinaigrette and marinated chicken
shish-ka-bob served over brown rice.
Grades 4-7
Develop the latest skills necessary to create
mouth watering appetizers and
desserts such as panko-breaded chicken
tenders with homemade honey mustard
sauce and chocolate chunk biscotti.
Grades 8 & Up
Learn to chop, whisk, marinate and zest
like a pro while preparing and enjoying
delicious and nutritious meals in this
hands-on class.
Grades 8 & Up
Practice the skills learned in Boot Camp I
and move on to more advanced techniques
such as tempering, sautéing,
blanching and preparing a roux while
creating meals you will enjoy at the end
of class.

Learn all you need to know about being
a good babysitter. Covers first aid, injury
prevention, good decision making,
handling an emergency, age-appropriate
activities, and more.
