COVID-19 Update - Facilities

ALERT COVID-19 UPDATE!

April 2020

Dear Members and Staff,

Due to the continued threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our Community, the Wyckoff Family YMCA and the Franklin Lakes Community Center are unable to determine an opening date at this time. The YMCA plans to reopen all facilities as soon as it is permitted by the government officials and supported by health organizations.

Please consult our Community Connections Homepage for the most up to date ongoing information regarding all aspects of our operation.

The Wyckoff Family YMCA and the Franklin Lakes Community Center’s highest priority is the safety and well-being of our Members, Staff, and Community.

With regards to how the YMCA / FLCC Closure effects your payment:

FULL MEMBERSHIPS -

All future draft payments have been suspended until business resumes. If you have paid for a Full Membership for the entire year, a time extension will be applied.

PROGRAMS -

All Program Classes will be postponed until further notice.  At this time, we intend to resume Session III when we reopen. We have currently completed 6 of the 8 week session, leaving 2 weeks remaining.  Our plan is to have Session 4.  Details will be communicated regarding fees and payments.

SHINING STAR / 21+ DAY PROGRAM -

Both Shining Star and 21+ Day Program payments have been suspended for the period we are closed.

CHILDCARE / NURSERY SCHOOL -

All Child Care payments have been suspended for the period we are closed.

SACC -

All School Aged Child Care future payments have been suspended for the period we are closed.

CAMP WYDACA -

We, at the Wyckoff YMCA, understand there is much uncertainty right now. We miss our families and are looking forward to seeing our young Summer Wee Daycare/Camp Wydaca children this summer. The Camp Team is diligently planning a summer of fun through an enriching education based curriculum and action packed activities for this summer.  Throughout all of the planning, you, our camp families, are our most important ingredient.  At this critical time, we have decided to postpone the April 2 draft and future payments until further notice.  In the meantime, stay home, stay safe, and stay connected to us!

Thank you for your patience as we navigate through this unprecedented time.

Sincerely,

Joy Vottero,

Executive Director
