The Chakra system is often referred to as a vortex of energy within the body. Each class will begin with a discussion of the 7 main Chakras and explore ways to balance and harmonize through specific yoga poses, color, and sound. Each Chakra has its own sound, and you will learn 7 mantras along with the harmonizing sounds of the Himalayan singing bowls. You will leave relaxed with practical tips on balancing the energy flow for daily practice.

A low-intensity workout designed for those with arthritis or other joint challenges; exercises utilizing light weights and dynabands that are recommended by The National Arthritis Foundation.

Post Rehab Training

Meet with a trainer twice a week to develop your exercise program. The program includes one fitness assessment and (8) 30 minute sessions. Continued sessions determined by trainer’s evaluation. Physician’s note required.

Designed for those who may have become deconditioned from their treatment. Gain the resources to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall quality of life. Strengthening Survivors Programs are sponsored by the Wyckoff Y Cares Fund.
