Teen Barre

Gr. 6 – 8 

Mon. 4-4:45pm    LOCATION: FLCC

A ballet-barre based fitness option for teens after school. Great for all fitness levels - the class combines the best of Pilates with elements of dance, yoga, and cardio sculpting.

Full Member YMCA / FLCC: FREE
Program Member: $25 per session/ $45 for both

 

Teen Cycle

Gr. 6 – 8   Sess. I A&B (8wk.)  

Thu. 4-4:45pm   LOCATION: YMCA

A great cardio instructor-led workout of simulated road bike riding to energizing music in our new CYCLE ROOM; appropriate for all fitness levels. Class size limited. Bring water and a towel. Height requirement 4’ 11.

Teen Yoga

Gr. 7 – 9 

Wed. 4-4:45pm    LOCATION: FLCC 

Build strength and flexibility with physically challenging postures and flowing sequences. Promote self-confidence, awareness, and control. Visualization and breathing exercises are used for overall balance and concentration.

Teen Body Blast

Gr. 5 – 8 

Tue. 4-4:45pm   LOCATION: FLCC

Focuses on toning up the large muscles from top to bottom.

Fundamentals to Weight Lifting 

Gr. 7 – 9 Sess. I A&B (8wk.)

Thu. 4-5pm-LOCATION: FLCC

Learn proper lifting form and technique from our experts to ensure a safe and effective workout including squatting, bench press, and other free weight exercises.
