‘Tis the Season for Spring Musicals!
This month we lit up the stages in Franklin Lakes at Franklin Avenue Middle School and Woodside Avenue School as we produced and directed the drama club productions of “Cinderella” and “Winnie the Pooh Kids”, respectively. We are the premier community partner in Franklin Lakes and deliver arts programming like no other! We are so proud to bring all that the Wyckoff YMCA offers inside our building to this outreach effort we call Y Arts On Location.
In addition to this, our studios were all a-buzz with rehearsals in full-swing for our Sondheim Tribute Show (April 11), The Little Mermaid, Jr. (May 16-18), and Moana, Jr. (June 14) all coming down the pike!
Our Pre-K and TK classes take the stage in their “Happily Ever After” Theatre Showcase on April 5, and StevieMac will be in concert on our stage on April 26. Needless to say, there’s something for everyone!

Our AOA St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon attendees!
On March 12 the Wyckoff YMCA hosted its Annual Luncheon and The Y Arts Music Department provided entertainment.
The AOA's played instruments at their tables and sang along to Irish favorites accompanied by our accomplished music faculty: Reegan McKenzie, vocalist, Georgianna Pappas, pianist, and newcomer, Brian Purwin, fiddle player.

Spearheaded by the Performing Arts Staff, with support from the Shining Star Staff, we all couldn’t be prouder of these hard-working & enthusiastic performers who sang and danced their hearts out, proving that we truly are “All in this Together!”
