Greetings from the bustling Performing Arts Office!
Music & Theatre has been full speed ahead since we’ve stepped out of summer and into fall. We look forward to our Kickoff Concert: “Don Jovi” on October 24! Our stage will be soaring with Jon Bon Jovi’s greatest songs and we can’t wait!
Auditions for the Y Arts Teens “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” had Y stage veterans and newcomers singing, dancing, & acting their way to create a great cast of characters. This seasonal classic is going to light up the Ron Zier Family Theatre in no time! And let’s not forget the other Holiday Favorites that the Performing Arts Office brings to life: Tree Lighting, Nutcracker Suite, and the Ballerina Tea Party: all family favorites!

Y Arts Kids, Drama Club
Y Arts Kids! Our Gr. 3-5 Drama Club, Y Arts Kids, met for their first class this week where they will rehearse and perform “Aladdin Kids” in January. This group of great triple-threats showcases the Y’s greatest students of musical theatre who not only did a great job preparing for their Aladdin audition, but did it with great confidence, discipline, & prowess. THAT is the Y Difference!
Music Lessons:
We are thrilled that our almost 60 Music Lesson students have started their package of lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele and Violin! The halls are alive with the Sound of Music!
