Happy New Year!
We are geared up for a busy January, ringing and singing in the New Year with 3 performances! The students of High Mountain Road Elementary School in Franklin Lakes take their stage in “Jungle Book Kids” on January 9-10, the students of Crescent Elementary School in Waldwick take their stage in “Annie Kids” on January 16-17, and the Y Arts Kids take the Carl Pfeifer Stage at the Y in “Aladdin Kids” on January 24. As you can see, we jump right in!

Singer Spotlight: Y Singers
Our Y Singers! The Y’s in-house adult chorus kicked off the Holiday Season in their annual Holiday Concert & Sing-along on December 16. An afternoon of song, complete with post-show refreshments, this group is the perfect host to a festive event that highlights traditional choral singing at its purest. (Under the direction of Georgianna P.)
Early Learning Center Concerts:
Our Early Learning Centers take the spotlight! In a triple-show day, each of 6 our childcare centers wore their holiday best, and belted out fun tunes of the season in their concert “The Holiday Spirit Sings Here” on Thu., December 18. The Performing Arts team is privileged to plant a little seed of entertainment in our early learners, this time featuring Preschool + Pre-K. It is proven the arts bring out confidence, self-esteem, discipline, and so much more that every YMCA child will reap its benefits for many years to come!
