Summer Programs Instructor:
Location: Wyckoff Family YMCA

The Wyckoff Family YMCA is looking for experienced program class instructors to teach the fundamentals of the subject while encouraging students to reach their full potential. Please be prepared to teach a demo lesson.
Expertise preferred in the following areas (but not limited to):
- Sports (Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Hockey, Volleyball)
- Science
- Gymnastics, Cheerleading
- Arts and Crafts, Sewing

Special Needs Programming
Category: Shining Star
Location: Multi
Job Type: Part-Time
Description:
All shifts preferred, but flexible. Monday 7-8pm, Wednesday 4-7pm, Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 10:45am-1pm
Expertise preferred in the following areas (but not limited to):
- Experience working with people with special needs is ideal, but not required
- Having patience due to the range of disabilities amongst participants
- Must be creative and energetic
- Assist in program activities based on pre-arranged educational/recreational themes provided
- Verbally and physically (ex: hand over hand) assist each participant during activities

Youth Dance Instructor
Category: Performing Arts
Location: Wyckoff Family YMCA
Job Type: Part-Time
Description:
- Applicants should have experience teaching multiple ages and levels and have an interest in teaching at a recreational level through advanced/career-track students.
- Instructors will be responsible for teaching technique as well as choreographing skill level appropriate dances for our end-of-the-year dance showcase performances.
- Experience as a professional instructor is required. Professional performance experience and ability to teach other disciplines of dance preferred but not required.
- Classes are generally scheduled after school and into the early evening (4-8pm) Monday through Thursday. Approximately 4-8 hours per week.
- Applicants may be asked to teach a sample class as a part of interview. Interested applicants should submit an application and resume.

Youth Sports Instructor

- Positions include tennis, golf, baseball, basketball, and more!
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in the program, by providing close supervision of all activities.
- Provide supervision of the participants in line with YMCA program standards and guidelines (i.e. ratio, attendance).
- Teach rules, fundamentals, and enhance basic skills. Emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Create an atmosphere in which all participants can have fun, are safe and learn the importance of good principled athletics.
- Instructors should have years of past experience of coaching and teaching in their area of sport expertise.
