Gr. K - 2: October 7 from 4-5pm
Bring your favorite story to life through arts and crafts. Enjoy story time together, learn about the author and illustrator, and design an art project based on the characters in the story!

NEW! MAKE & TAKE: STORY LAB
Gr. 2 - 5: October 7 from 5:30-6:30pm
Become an author by writing and illustrating your own story! Participants receive their own book filled with blank pages. Using creative writing techniques, students are guided on how to write their own story and draw their own illustrations. Become an author and take home your story to share!

NEW! MAKE & TAKE: BOARD GAME NIGHT
Gr. K – 2: October 28 from 4-5pm
Join us to play your favorite games like Uno, Chess, Checkers, Scrabble, Chutes and Ladders and more. Participants spend time rotating between their favorite board games. Bring a friend, and compete to see who can take home the title of Board Game Champion!

Gr. 2 – 5: October 28 from 5:30-6:30pm
Puzzles, memory games, and strategy exercises, challenge your critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Tackle logic puzzles, memory games, strategy challenges, and team-based problem-solving activities designed to boost critical thinking, focus, and creativity. Exercise your brain while building confidence and collaboration skills.

MAKE & TAKE: THANKSGIVING FEAST
Gr. K – 2: November 18 from 4-5pm
Gr. 3 – 5: November 18 from 5:30-6:30pm
Gather around the table and cook up your favorite holiday recipes to celebrate Thanksgiving. Take your chef skills to the next level as we prepare your favorite Thanksgiving meals. Use vegetables, herbs, spices, and more to create unique dishes that are sure to please. Chop, mix, and bake up delicious treats to share with everyone!

The YMCA offers one day class options for troops across the area. We tailor the program to fit your needs – Cooking, Gymnastics, Dance, Art, and more! We even offer CPR and First Aid certifications!
