Shining Star Express Classes (SSE):
Shining Star Express is an inclusive program available to individuals of all ages and abilities that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Our program uses peer modeling to provide both structured and unstructured activities and social skills learning. Special outings are planned throughout the year such as bowling, mini golf, and attending local baseball games. Our most popular events include our annual talent show, “Shining Star’s Got Talent” and the Winter Formal.
In an effort to cater to a wide range of personal interests, we offer a variety of classes including fitness, art, social group, cooking, and music classes. There is truly a class for everyone in our Shining Star Express Program!

FUTURE STARS:
The Children’s Program Department is excited to announce our offerings for Children with Special Needs.
FUTURE STARS gives individuals with intellectual and/ or developmental disability access to classes and activities that encourage self-sufficiency, socialization, and staying active.
Participants build developmental assets, personal strengths, self-confidence, and other cognitive and non-cognitive skills through sports, art, movement classes, and more. The Wyckoff YMCA is proud to partially underwrite the cost of this new venture through the philanthropic branch, Wyckoff Y Cares Fund.
