MEET THE BOARD:

Frank Crotty, President

Frank currently serves as President and is the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and has been associated with the Y for over 30 years, serving two terms as President. He is deeply involved with the Y’s Veterans Initiative Program. He is a graduate of Holy Cross and Fordham Law School.

Bill Burns, Vice President

Bill joined the Board in 2017 and currently serves as Vice President and Chair of the Special Needs Committee. He is a prominent contributor to the Annual Buddy Walk. Bill lives with his wife and three children in Ramsey, and works as a Senior Vice President for Morgan Stanley. He graduated from the College of New Jersey with a BS in accounting before going on to earn the CPA and CFP designations.

Dottie Van Der Horn, Secretary

Dottie serves as Secretary to the Board. She has also worked with the Active Older Adults, and the Ladies Night and Wyckoff Day Committees. Dottie is affiliated with Wyckoff Florist & Gifts.

John Carolan

John is currently a Marketing Director in US Market Access at Pfizer Inc. where he has demonstrated a track record of success in leading commercial activities and complex cross-functional projects across multiple business environments for the past 34 years. Throughout his career, he has become known as a trusted Advisor and a respected Mentor. In addition to his professional experience, John has been actively involved in community leadership, serving as a Board Member and President for the Ramapo/Indian Hills School District, as well as a Wyckoff Township Committee Member, a Board Trustee for the Wyckoff K-8 School District, and a Family Member here at the Wyckoff Family YMCA for many years.

James Dooley

Jim has served on the Board for 25 years. Jim and his wife Kathy, have lived in Wyckoff for over 40 years. He serves as the Chair for the Mike O’Shea Charitable Golf Classic.

John Murphy

John is Chair of the Active Older Adults (AOA) Membership Committee. He received his BS from Rutgers and MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson and served in the Army National Guard. John began his career with AT&T Western Electric and later moved to Prentice Hall/Pearson, retiring as VP of Networking Technologies in 2011. He served as President of the NJ Chapter of The Association of Image and Information Management. John and his wife, Bev, have three daughters and four grandchildren and reside in Waldwick.

Gina Nerlino

Gina has been a Board member for 11 years. She serves as the Chair of the Y’s Annual Ladies Tennis and Paddle Classic and Luncheon. Gina is a former Partner/Account Director of J. Walter Thompson Co., New York. She graduated St. Lawrence University.

Lee Parker

Lee has been a Board member for 16 years and has served as President for the past five years. He is Chairperson for the Annual Golf Outing benefiting Special Needs Programs. Lee has been in the restaurant business for several decades and had a 10 year span in the telecom industry. He currently owns 3 Chicas Mexican Kitchen, which he opened in 2002 in Wyckoff. Lee is a graduate of Villanova University.
