Get your young scientist and mathematician the help they need from a highly experienced Science and Math Teacher. This highly accessible tutoring program covers Biology, Chemistry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, SAT/ACT Math, and Middle School Math/Science. Focus on study skills, problem sets, homework, lab reports, exam preparation, projects, and anything in between to help your student raise their grade and have a positive experience in math and science classes.

Master essential cooking and baking techniques, from preparing basic meals to executing intricate desserts. Students learn key skills like knife handling, ingredient preparation, baking fundamentals, and cooking methods. Perfect for future chefs, this class provides hands-on experience and practical tips to build confidence in the kitchen and create delicious dishes and treats.

Master cooking skills, explore new recipes, and have fun in the kitchen! Chop, measure, mince, and stir up ingredients to create classic meals and treats. Emphasize safety at the stove, knife skills, and proper food handling while learning new and delicious dishes. Encourage teamwork, healthy choices, and an overall love for food!

THE GYMNAST CLUB: We’re Flipping Out!
NEW! GYMNASTICS 2
Gr. 3–5: Mon. 6–7pm
Session I–II & Session III-IV
Designed for Intermediate and Advanced gymnasts, this class allows students to perfect their basic skills and enhance their technique. Gymnasts work on all equipment to learn advanced practices, as well as perfect their floor work and tumbling. Participants choreograph and perform a gymnastics routine at the end of the session!

CHEERLEADING 2
Gr. 3–5: Mon. 5–6pm
Session II-III
Build confidence, develop skills, and learn to be part of a team. Combine cheers, motions, jumps, kicks, and voice projection. The class includes beginning tumbling and stunting. Throughout the 16-week session, Cheerleaders perform at select Hoops League Basketball Games on Saturday Mornings at the YMCA!

NEW! TUMBLING TECHNIQUES 2
Gr. 3–5: Wed. 4:45–5:30pm
Session I/II & Session III/IV
Practice fundamental tumbling skills like rolls and handstands while experimenting with more advanced skills like cartwheels and flips. Emphasize body alignment, strength, flexibility, and control. Build confidence and technique through targeted drills, progressing to more complex maneuvers. Open to all levels of experience, this class is ideal for those interested in gymnastics or cheerleading.

Learn to draw what you see! A series of drawing projects are designed using a variety of art materials including inks, watercolor, pencil, pastels, crayon, and some of our own handmade drawing tools. Learn to include new ways to draw, such as mark making, patterns, composition, and perspective. From still life to collage, artists draw them all!

Take creativity to the next level in the art studio! Explore a variety of art techniques, from drawing and painting to digital art and sculpture. Teen Art Studio provides a space for teens to develop their unique style, build confidence, and create art that reflects their personal vision.

Focus and build your comprehensive understanding of sewing techniques. Develop motor skills by tracing and cutting patterns on a variety of materials and fabrics. Gain proficiency on the sewing machine while perfecting hand sewing techniques to create a well-rounded designer! Assemble your pieces to create projects to take home and enjoy.
