Are sports your thing? Have we got a class or league for you! Take a look at our sports programming format, specially designed for the all sports loving athlete. Don’t miss our exciting soccer, floor hockey and basketball leagues and classes for the athlete who has found his/her sports passion.

For the higher level athlete, be sure to check out our sports specific intensive training session such as our Pre-Season Basketball Workout, Bootcamp for the Competitive Athlete, and One-on-One Personal Basketball, Soccer and Tennis Training. Also, don’t miss our TGA Golf Program, Cross Country Clinic and Intro to Track and Field Skills and Conditioning, and our newest slam dunk-Grade 1 and 2 basketball Leagues.

AAU Basketball Program basketball court

Gr. 4-11 

Play competitively in one of the premier basketball facilities in North Jersey - The Wyckoff YMCA! Focus is on overall skillsets, both offensive and defensive including cardio conditioning. The AAU Program provides an environment of learning, not only about basketball, but emphasizes life lessons to develop the total player. Our program has grown from 3 teams at inception to 12 teams for athletes in Grades 4-11; Over 100 participants! 

  • An affordable option that offers elite level of Coaching and Training 
  • Season runs from end of March to early June 
  • Practice 1-2 days per week 
  • 3 Tournaments

Sports Clinics:

Competitive Sports, Leagues, Training, and Instruction at the Y teaches commitment, builds self-esteem, clarifies fair play, and promotes teamwork. Athletes begin to understand the value of exercise, pushing to bring out your best effort, and learn goal setting. Being a part of the Y’s team offers a sense of community where you learn resilience when the game isn’t going your way. Our coaches communicate, care, and encourage each individual on and off the field. We want you on our team!
