Franklin Lakes “Safety Town” Program:

Presented By The Wyckoff Family YMCA
July 1 -12 at High Mountain Road School

Traffic LightSafety Town is a program designed to teach Franklin Lakes children entering Kindergarten in September different strategies about safety at home and in their community.

Our day is filled with activities that teach the children a number of safety practices. Learn about personal safety through a presentation by a Police Officer from the Franklin Lakes Police Department. Otto the Auto of AAA will entertain the children as they become aware of pedestrian and traffic safety.

Our town’s community helpers – the Ambulance Corps and Fire Department – will educate the children about preventative strategies in fire safety and first aid. Lastly, a trip to the Wyckoff Y’s Spring Lake to learn about water safety completes our safety curriculum.

Snack will be provided and the program is held rain or shine. Please return the registration form with a completed Health Form and payment to the Wyckoff Family YMCA at 691 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.
